Category Manager

Have you driven e-commerce categories to grow volumes exponentially while taking care of the products, vendors, daily operations and P&L? Are you passionate about creating global go-to-market strategies to address the needs of the consumers via your category? WHAT WE EXPECT :

- 2-5 years' Experience in a high growth e-commerce start-up, graduation, and MBA from a Tier 1 Institute with strong numerical and analytical aptitude

- Have strong business acumen with a track record of managing a category independently with strong leadership skills, ownership values, and relationship management

- Fluent in multiple system applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, G-suite products, etc.)

- Strong cross-functional collaboration and team player with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing and strategizing efficiently

- Understanding of how to drive program adoption and scale business

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Extremely detail-oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with the ability to propose innovative solutions to problems at hand

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

- Have end to end responsibility for the category, P&L, team, and growth

- Deepen the category by adding more relevant assortments, running targeted promotions, managing partner brands

- Anticipate customer personas and needs across the globe and incorporate them into the functional roadmap of the category

- Stay up to date with competitive trends in the marketplace and other macro-environment

- Accountable for driving traffic conversion and margin improvements while delivering the highest quality service standards

- Manage marketplace monthly sales plan, drive team and category to achieve and grow MoM targets
