Category Manager - eCommerce

Key Purpose of the job:

The role holder is responsible for driving revenue and profitability targets. Managing vendor relationships for effective planning, delivery, and margins realization for the product, is key to the role holder.

The role holder is responsible for managing interactions with cross-functional stakeholders (example: internal marketing / analytics team and external key channel partners / regional distributors for concerned products / business, in collaboration with the Sales team). The role holder is the point of contact for resolution of all escalated issues related to the concerned product / business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for achieving revenue targets (quarterly, annual) for the concerned product / business.

2. Achieve profitability targets (quarterly, annual) for the concerned product / business.

3. Manage relationships with vendor representatives of the concerned product / business (for example, vendor distribution manager, vendor category manager, vendor sales team).

4. Manage interactions with cross-functional stakeholders (example: internal marketing / analytics team and external key channel partners / regional distributors for concerned products / business, in collaboration with the Sales team).

5. Run program to promote respective products in connection with product and marketing team.

6. Responsible to grow vendor adoption of the E Commerce platform.

7. Responsible for resolution of escalated issues pertaining to the concerned product / business and for supervision of backend team
