We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to lead the optimization and strategic direction of a designated product category within the consumer durables sector. Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy and Business Plan Alignment:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business plan objectives, ensuring cohesive efforts towards organizational goals.

Product Differentiation and Financial Management:

- Define unique selling propositions, optimize costing and pricing strategies, and implement effective schemes while maintaining meticulous control over networks.

Profitability Optimization:

- Drive initiatives to enhance product profitability through strategic pricing, cost management, and revenue optimization strategies.

Sales Target Forecasting and Initiatives:

- Forecast monthly and annual sales targets, spearheading sales initiatives to exceed business goals and capture market opportunities.

Strategic Product Development Support:

- Provide strategic guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle and new product launch process to ensure successful market entry.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Alignment:

- Analyze market dynamics and align business plan targets with emerging market opportunities to maximize revenue potential.

Market Segmentation and Penetration Strategies:

- Develop and implement market segmentation and penetration strategies through benchmarking, forecasting, and effective product positioning.

Sales Intelligence and Collaboration:

- Provide actionable market intelligence to sales teams, collaborating on targeted action plans to capitalize on market trends and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Review and Coordination:

- Facilitate regular review meetings with Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, and R&D teams to align efforts and address strategic imperatives.

Market Trends and Competition Analysis:

- Monitor global trends, track product innovations, analyze competitor activities, and conduct market share analysis to stay ahead of the curve.

Consumer Insights: Utilize consumer insights, feedback, and data analytics to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Strategic Solutions and Performance Enhancement:

- Actively participate in and initiate strategic solutions for secondary sales activation programs, inventory management, network optimization, and consumer engagement initiatives.

Vendor Management:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms, pricing, and promotional opportunities to maximize category performance.

Promotions and Campaigns:

- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance the visibility of the consumer durables category.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Provide effective leadership and management to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration to drive collective success.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and analyze category performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
