Position: Category Manager (5-10 yrs) (Leading Building Materials Co)
Role:
- Managing a new Product category with business & brand development responsibility
- Prepare Business Plan basis on Category growth targets, Market potential and Product roadmap
- Analyze Market trend & Competition benchmarking to define action measures and category Strategy & roadmap
- Actively working on market gap identification, New Product Development and GTM Strategy Implementation; managing brand building & product awareness campaigns
- Create competitive product portfolio based on Consumer behavior, Technology trends & internal capabilities
- Leading implementation of 4Ps for NPDs through market & customer data analysis, and monitoring relevant competition activities by liaising with sales team to pursue organizational marketing objectives and enable marketing management decisions
- Formulate pricing basis Product features, competition & profitability targets; Ensured effective rollout in market
- Ownership of Marketing budget & its utilization for achieving category targets in conjunction with brand marketing
- Design promotional strategies and implementation through ATL, BTL & Digital
- Develop selling stories & product specific information for catalogues, POSM, training and sales pitch
Requirements:
- MBA (Premier Institute)
- 5-10 yrs of post MBA experience in Category Management/ Category Creation/ Product Management
- Some prior experience in Business Development/ Institutional Sales will be preferred
- Good Communication and Analytical skills
