Category Leader - R&D - FMCG - PhD

Position Name: R&D Category Leader, Home Care

Reporting to: R&D Head or VP R&D Categories

Job Purpose: Develop and design best in class FMCG products for the delight of consumers

Key Responsibilities/ outcomes:

1) Product development and scale up

2) Manufacturing plant trials and roll out

3) Custodian of product formulations and claims

Qualification Masters Ph. D.

Experience :

- 10 - 20 years in a large FMCG organisation

- Track record of leading product development for Home Care

- Working closely with Brands and Business

- End to end understanding of formulation, stability and manufacturing

- Design & Implementation of manufacturing processes

- Team management

- Worked across Home Care, and Personal Care

- Managing cross disciplinary teams

- Strong network with suppliers

- CV and Interview

- Knowledge Knowledge of Home Care Formulations, for all subcategory of products

Detailed knowledge of manufacturing lines :

- Laboratory and pilot plant management

- Basic understanding of raw material sourcing

- Network of manufacturers - CV & Interview

Skills :

- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
