Category Lead - Off Take

- This Role will be responsible for managing the Off Take program for Finished Goods for Americas, Europe & Middle East Markets including Support to Domestic market/Manufacturing units for off-take of production essential consumable items like Bladders (Curing & Turn-up), Tubes, Flaps, RIMs etc. and related services.

- The category lead would play an essential role in leading the strategic sourcing opportunities, developing category plans and negotiating highly complex contracts for the business

- Guide the team on strategic Off-take procurement processes.

- Work collaboratively with dispersed stakeholders to develop strategic off take plans for FG supporting the International and Plant Teams.

- Gain alignment on sourcing and negotiation strategies and short/long term category roadmaps.

- Develop supplier management strategy and optimize global suppliers.

- Develop negotiation plans aligned with stakeholder desired outcomes with decision making for make or out-source

- Set governance mechanism to review buyer/supplier performance specifically for Requirement status (PR/PO), delivery performance, and Payment issues

- Manage process compliance during all phases of Off-take to ensure that are no audit observations/process gaps

- Influence decision makers at all levels by presenting business case, spend-cost analysis and performance metrics

- Lead cross functional teams and Serve as the Category lead for the stakeholders & team and guide them on strategic sourcing and operational procurement processes.

- Knowledge of RIM and Wheels

- 10-15yrs of sourcing and negotiating experience in off-take program

- Added experience in Raw Material Sourcing or worked in New Product Development Area

- Preferable: Tire or Process or Auto Industry.

- Educational Background:

- Mandatory : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

- Desired : MBA or Diploma in Materials Management
