Key Responsibilities :
- Start-up, scale, lead and own P/L Sportswear category.
- Create long & short term strategies for the category and execute them with precision.
- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- On-board and scale-up high quality brands/ sellers
- Taking complete ownership of customer experience for this category including but not restricted product, catalog, delivery and pricing.
- Be a part of designing policies for the category
- Constantly define, track and report functional metrics for business performance and customer experience.
- Keep constantly monitoring & expanding seller/ brand performance and pipeline for business scale-up.
A Successful candidate must have :
- 7-10 years of experience in leading sportswear/apparel segment for leading marketplace
- Experience of handling P&L
- Fair understanding of marketplace preferably in sports category
- Ability to take decisive action based on professional and practical analysis of situations
- Ability to navigate and perform amidst ambiguity is a must
- Experience in marketplace acquisition/ category management.
Nice to have :
- Experience in E-commerce/ Retail buying experience
- Experience in handling brand relationships.
- Experience in handling a team of executives and manager
