Key elements of the role include -
- Very deep understanding of the customer, online buying behavior, means to drive purchases leading to satisfaction of the core values of the TG
- Being a strong voice of the customer internally and jointly owning charters with the product and engineering teams to build the right discovery, merchandising and user interface
- Building key engagement constructs that make 2Gud a - customer habit
- Work very closely with the Business Development and market research teams to ensure the latest selection is always present on the platform
- Develop the right pricing policy - identify opportunities for giving customers value through intelligent and limited discounting
Job Description -
- Build the most effective and efficient marketing and outreach channels to customer to both acquire and retain them
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to showcase the right products, provide inputs to platform discovery algorithms
- Own the customer experience in the category and with product and experience teams lead the vision
- Work with marketing to identify the best initiatives to build awareness and encourage trial across channels
- Constantly help evolve the platform to reduce barriers for sellers while providing customers with what they want
Desired skills and experience -
- MBA is required
- Prior category management experience
- Strong people management experience
- Program management skills, relationship management, interpersonal communication - ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams with an eye for detail
- Basic proficiency in MS applications e.g. Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point
- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical
- Strong customer orientation
- Strong bias for action
- Persevering with a never give-up attitude
