Category Head - Apparels & Footwear

The incumbent will be heading the apparel and footwear categories (with P&L responsibilities) for a leading outdoor wear brand.

Key Result Areas

- Invigorate the product portfolio to create profitable growth

- Responsible for Pricing and Gross Margin

- Inventory Management of Portfolio within established norms

- Create and Implement Category Management processes with stakeholders to ensure seamless internal co-ordination and customer delight

Critical Activities

- Create a long term and short term strategy for Apparel and Footwear portfolio expansion

- Trend and Consumer Insighting to ensure portfolio remains relevant

- Provide briefs to Creation Centre to keep products fresh and within brand guidelines

- Ensure co-ordination with Design, Sourcing , S&OP and Finance for approvals and ensure timely OTB

- Create GTM plans with Marketing and Sales to ensure successful product launches

- Capture feedback from relevant stakeholders for process improvement

- Track Competing brands in the category to ensure market gaps are covered within brand guidelines
