Category Head - Apparel/Fashion - eCommerce

We are creating a next big e-commerce distribution channel.

Role: Category Head

Budget: up to 30 LPA

Location: Bangalore

Notice: Immediate Joinee or less than 30 Days.

Education: Preferred -National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) + Premier Institute MBA (full time) preferred OR Mandate Relevant experience.

- Understanding the consumer and competition. Planning & Driving towards growing the category.

- Will have people management responsibilities and lead a team and be responsible for managing category (including reporting, driving unit, revenue and margin growth, and executing promotions), negotiating with key brands, driving incremental selection in the stores, and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that will result in category leadership in the online market segment.

- Act as the - business owner- for his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives)

- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.

- 4- 8 years of experience in Category Management from Top Apparel / Fashion Category preferred.

- At least 3 years experience in category management and 3+ years experience in team management of Category managers.

- Must have handled P&L responsibility.

- Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to business problems

- Responsible for 250 to 300cr crore annual business.
