Category Growth Manager - HealthTech - IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI

About us :

Care.Fi is an early-stage Peak XV-backed health tech, working across the Healthcare Supply chain to ease working capital constraints through a blend of finance, commerce, and technology. Since, our launch two years ago, we are already working 50+ hospitals, 200+ suppliers, and many more doctors.

We also started a vertical asset-lite managed marketplace, which has scaled 4x since launch six months ago. This hire will be joining this team, which aims to do volume of 15cr Monthly by Mar'24

About the Role As a Category growth manager, you will do Zero to one for a new healthcare vertical for Care. Fi's managed marketplace. We launched Rx vertical a few months ago and are now looking to venture into the Healthcare supplies business as well. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, working with a dynamic team to optimize the supply chain and make a real difference in healthcare.

Key responsibilities would include:

- Lead 0 to 1 journey for Wholesale, Surgicals, and Injectibles. identified after deep market research and unique customer insights

- Driving marketplace growth of the category, keeping in mind the consumer and competition; The Category manager would be responsible for the revenue targets and gross margins

- Develop regional strategy and business plans with inputs from Supply team

- Category owner who can take up complete ownership of the assigned micro-market and deliver the results

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the Voice of Customer, identify the unique needs, and build solutions tailored to them

- Should have prior experience or enough knowledge & confidence to mentor/supervise operations. Inbound planning, cataloging monitoring & Discount monitoring etc, should be managed

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate would have:

- 2-4 years of experience in Pharma/Healthcare Supply Chain

- Good understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem

- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

- Have worked with hospital procurement and finance teams

- Strong distributor network regionally; Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills

- Above all, we are looking for candidates with a PhD - Poor, hungry, and Driven mentality; A hustler and get things done attitude is a must. While this role requires execution, we expect candidates eager to have on-the-ground experience, get their hands dirty, and solve real-world problems.
