Catchup - Chief Technical Officer - Startup

CATCHUP is young startup working on location based social networking; developing product for universities and colleges in India and Canada. We are looking for a passionate technology leader with a knack of mobile and web development platforms. The Candidate will become a part of the core team and will have equity options in addition to a competitive salary.

The Chief Technology Officer will oversee all technology services, product analysis, and software architecture activities at CATCHUP. This role is also responsible for building and owning product development processes and team. The CTO is required to remain innovative in design and stay abreast of all industry hot topics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Create technical architecture for products, product development cycles and shows hands on expertise with programing and testing

- Responsible to build and lead the product development team to the completion of design and development under startup timelines.

- Manages all research, development, and product design initiatives.
Define standards, policies, procedures, measures, and organizational enhancements to meet company goals for the Product & Technology Management group.

- Mentor team members in order to assist them in cultivating their skills.

- Coordination with strategic Vendors for outsourcing and hosting services.

Experience/ Skills requirement:

- Bachelors or Master degree in IT or computer science engineering.

- Minimum Four years of experience as a project leader

- Startup enthusiast, previous startup experience is a plus.

- Experience is mobile app development, knowledge of Xcode, Android, Titanium and/or other frame works for web and mobile application development.
