Job Description :
Position : Head - Direct Marketing
Department : Executive Education
Reports To : Managing Director
Location : Ahmedabad/Mumbai
Responsibility :
The candidate will be responsible for the direct marketing efforts of the organization and would be responsible for achieving revenue and sales target through direct marketing and would be responsible for end to end operations of the direct calling team, both inbound and outbound for both custom designed and open enrollment executive education programs.
Responsibilities :
- Briefing team about the upcoming program/s
- Work closely with Sales team for custom requirements
- Write necessary customer communication for all customer communication through direct marketing
- Assigning targets to team for generating required number of nominations for a given program
- Ensuring excellent of quality in customer interaction and understanding the training requirements
- Gathering market intelligence for Open / custom program and providing the input to management based on interaction with team
- Achievement of program targets
- Manage daily operation and addressing queries
- Weekly report on overall performance of open program / inquires generated for custom program
- Maintains direct telemarketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; coordinating with outsourced agencies (if any) for achieving results
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains customer response operations by establishing work schedules; assigning employees; providing back-up.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing standards; training representatives; monitoring calls; surveying customers; evaluating outcomes.
- Resolves customer problems by training telemarketing service representatives; maintaining reference manuals and dialogue guides; providing information; answering questions.
- Maintains work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments; participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
- Keeps management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations.
- Maintains equipment by coordinating requirements with telecommunications and information services departments; examining state-of-the-art technology; recommending upgrades; controlling installations.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Work Closely with Market Intelligence team for shortlisting of Target Group of customers

Qualification : Graduate / Post Graduate
Experience : Around 7-10 years of experience in managing Direct Sales, experience in executive education market will be preferred.
