Cars24 - Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- The objective of this role is to manage risk of Used Car Loan business through underwriting scorecards/it's implementation and data driven strategies

- Responsible for defining what risk we should operate at using market benchmarking(quantitative and qualitative studies)

- Defining threshold for key Risk KPIs

- Defining underwriting frameworks for approving or rejecting a cohort/defining line and tenure strategy

- Assessment and feedback to the business on risk unlocks and risk cuts to create a balance b/w business growth and the expected losses.

- Collaboration with functional team across like DS/Credit/Collection to control our risk within defined appetite

- Experimentation for identifying white spaces in market for growing sustainability by taking good risk

- Monitoring portfolio for identification of potential fraud risk/operational risk

- Understand ECL methodologies.

- Understanding of ML scorecards for underwriting would be a add on but not mandatory

- At a lead and managerial level, the candidate should have leadership skill where the person can solve problems end to end/understand the big picture/define long terms strategies/create and manage a team.

Education:

- UG:B.Tech/B.E./B.S or CA or any finance qualification

- Preferably FRM/CQF degrees

- Preferably MBA
