Cars24 - Financial Planning & Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our growing team at Cars24 Financial Services. In this crucial role, you will play a key role in supporting the development and analysis of complex financial models, particularly for debt raising, debt management, and treasury functions. You will be instrumental in providing valuable insights and recommendations to support informed financial decisions across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for debt raising, debt management, and other treasury-related functions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.

- Analyse financial data and trends to identify key drivers of performance and potential risks related to debt and treasury activities.

- Conduct thorough scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various financial decisions on debt structure and liquidity.

- Collaborate with the Treasury department on various projects, providing modelling expertise and financial analysis related to funding strategies, interest rate management, and investment decisions.

- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex financial information.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial modelling, debt management, and treasury operations.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance Planning & Analysis or Head of Treasury.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience in a financial modelling or corporate finance role, preferably within the financial services industry.

- Proficient in financial modelling using Excel and ideally additional tools like VBA or Python.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting, debt & capital markets, and financial analysis techniques.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

- CA certification preferred.
