Cars24 - Finance Analyst

About the Role:

At CARS24, we are on a mission to become the largest auto tech company in the world. We are expanding our corporate development team and looking for highly driven candidates with 1-3 years of work experience with strong Strategic, M&A, and Investment Banking expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluation of new business verticals (in terms of seeding a new vertical or M&A)

- Market research and tracking the space and competition on a regular basis

- Develop a funnel of potential M&A opportunities based on strategic priorities

- Fundraising & acquisitions, prepare transaction review and/or approval

- Materials for Senior Management and the Partnership Board and Diligence readiness

- Perform or support other ad-hoc M&A-related projects or analyses

- Preparation of periodic communication material for both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to monthly MIS, shareholder letter, pitch decks etc.

Requirements:

- CA/Undergraduates from top institutions

- 1 to 3 years of experience working in investment banking, corporate finance / treasury, venture capital/private equity or early-stage high growth startups

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work in a high-pressure, high-growth environment with tight deadlines

- Strong financial modelling skills (ability to build and modify models to evaluate transaction economics and perform sensitivity analysis)

- Experience preparing presentations for Senior Management/Board

- Experience with company valuation models using comparables, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow (DCF)
