Role Overview:

This high-impact role calls for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Head to lead the creation and expansion of our Auctions business, focusing on Bank and Insurance repossessions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the business's strategic direction, operational framework, and execution, driving Cars24's mission forward with innovative and technology-first solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Development: Launch and scale the Repo Auctions business, aligning with Cars24s core values and mission.

- Leadership: Guide a talented mid-management team, ensuring operational excellence and the achievement of strategic goals.

- Partnership Cultivation: Forge strong relationships with banks, insurance companies, and other key stakeholders to secure a steady flow of auction vehicles.

- Operational Innovation: Implement best practices in procurement, logistics, and inventory management, focusing on efficiency and leveraging technology to overcome challenges.

- Culture Building: Foster a culture of high performance, emphasizing agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Educational Excellence: A Tier A undergraduate degree (IIT/BITS preferred); post-graduation is a plus.

- Proven Leadership: At least 10 years of experience in business development or operations, with a track record of setting up and scaling businesses, preferably in complex B2B setups.

- Operational Savvy: Strong operational expertise, particularly in new business establishments.

- Inspirational Leadership: Exceptional skills in team management, motivation, and development.

- Strategic Partnerships: Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and managing stakeholder relationships.
