Cars24 Hiring | Assistant General Manager - Business Finance
Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Lead the management and analysis of the P&L statement, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with financial objectives and targets.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business units and department heads to provide financial insights, analysis, and support for decision-making. Act as a strategic partner in driving business growth and profitability.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost optimization opportunities across the organization. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
- Revenue Assurance: Work with sales and revenue teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition, monitor billing and collections, and identify areas for revenue enhancement.
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Lead the development and coordination of the AOP, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Track performance against the AOP and provide regular updates to management.
- Automation of P&L Dashboard: Design and implement automated P&L dashboards and reporting tools to streamline financial reporting processes. Ensure real-time access to key financial metrics.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic background and relevant finance experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to achieve financial objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, and the ability to drive automation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
