Carnot Technologies - Product Manager

Carnot is an ag-tech startup by IIT Bombay alumni & backed by Mahindra (Series B), and incubated by Qualcomm and Microsoft. Our mission is to improve farmer incomes through technology. Our flagship products are Simha Telematics and KrishE Advisory and we have over 200K downloads.

We are looking for hands-on and passionate Product Manager to join the small and tightly knit Carnot Product team. In this role, you will be responsible to end to end manage and own agri-tech product delivery, with a farmer facing Product. We are already with 200K+ users, and are planning to rocketship the growth to the next level. We genuinely believe tech, if coupled with the right product, can change the face of agriculture of this country.

You will be working with following stakeholders :

1. The leadership team (Founders + Product Leads)

2. The Product Design team

3. The Engineering Management team

4. The biggest of them all : The Farmers and Users

Your key responsibilities broadly include :

1. Own end to end delivery of core product features in the app

2. Manage the agronomy communication and help convert their insights into Product "Aha" moments

3. Establish a data driven culture to drive quick experimentation and iteration of the product

4. Run the show with Engineering managers to execute the sprints

What we are looking in the candidate :

- Someone who has worked on improving app engagement, retention : I'm talking gamification, viral loops, content strategy and the like :

1. Someone who understands importance of communication, especially for a growing startup!

2. Someone who worships data driven approach over debates

3. Being able to organize their own shit. If you plan your life out through trello / Asana boards, you are THE ONE :)

4. You should love technology! - If you love discussing and understanding tech, you will make loads of friends over coffee at Carnot

5. Someone who can empathize with production hell the technology teams go through

6. If you have done farming / have exposure to farming - this is A BIG PLUS
