JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT:

The Tax Accountant II position will provide value added tax compliance services in a shared services environment as part of a talented, high performing, innovative and engaged team. In this role, you will communicate with businesses and tax personnel in multiple countries on issues arising with the value added tax and Intrastat reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Check, review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.

- Prepare, check and consolidate Direct and indirect taxes returns and intrastat reports.

- Prepare data analysis on monthly document turnover.

- Proactively participate in process analysis and improvements.

- Provide ad-hoc support in case of tax audits, internal and external audits.

- Guide and train new and junior team members.

- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Most Preferred CA/CMA qualified resources

- 2 To 3 years related work experience (Preferred experience in Australia taxation)

- Experience in tax accounting, tax advisory or tax auditing

- Advanced problem solving skills

- Minimum of two years of related work experience

- Other minimum qualifications may apply

- Need to hire a Tax Analyst for Australia Tax Migration.

- CA with minimum 3 years PQE

- Willing to pursue a career in tax

- Willing to work in Australia shift on needs basis (quarter closing/year closing) mostly.

- Able to join us by end of Jan 2023

- Australian Tax Experience would be preferred
