Position Purpose & Summary :

- Position is responsible for Reviewing & Performing Record to Report (RTR) activities, which includes processing journal entries, process intecompany transactions, handle fixed assets accounting and close process activities

- Responsible for reconciling and reviewing control and current accounts including Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Responsible for Consolidation & Reporting activities

- Building Cohesive Team Environment and be a Point of Contact for Stakeholders Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency

- Competent in Handling Escalations and ad-hoc requests on a timely manner

- This position will also lead process improvements in all areas of Record to Report(RTR) processes; and will serve as initial contact person to A&R Teams with regards to Period end close processes.

Principal Accountabilities :

1. 60% :

- Lead various Record to Report (RTR) activities, which includes processing journal entries, process intecompany transactions, handle fixed assets accounting and close process activities

- Responsible for reconciling and reviewing control and current accounts including Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Responsible for Consolidation & Reporting activities

2. 10% :

- This position will also lead process improvements in all areas of Record to Report(RTR) processes; and will serve as initial contact person to A&R Teams with regards to Period end close processes.

3. 10% :

- Building Cohesive Team Environment and be a Point of Contact for Stakeholders in absence of the Team Lead/Supervisor

- Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency

- Competent in Handling Escalations and ad-hoc requests on a timely manner

4. 10% :

- Active participation in GPO Initiatives and Global Projects as an SME(Subject Matter Expert)

5. 10%

- Build Adequate Process Control and Effectively Manage Audit Queries

Education, Experience, Skills :

Required Qualifications :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant.

- At least 1 to 6 years working experience in Multinational environment

- Prior experience of doing onsite migration and experience in creation of effective desktop procedures/standard operating procedures is an added advantage

- Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP

- Good oral and written communication

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Able to work with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge in IFRS, US GAAP

- Knowledge in JDE/SAP Accounting system is an advantage

- Advance knowledge in Excel is an advantage
