Description : - The RTR Portfolio Lead will be a member of the Leadership Team of Record to Report (RTR) Global Process team and will be part of Global Extended Leadership team for Finance Global Process Delivery team. The RTR Portfolio Lead collectively will be charged with providing a robust and scalable Finance framework in support of Cargill's strategy in line with its multi-year, global Finance Transformation. - The RTR team is part of a broader, multi-year Finance Transformation focused on transforming Cargill's global finance processes to leading practices. This includes strategy development, process change, and technology investments to deploy state of the art reporting and analytics to provider better business insights to drive decision making across all levels of the organization. - The RTR Portfolio Lead is responsible, on behalf of the RTR Global Process Manager, for delivering change in the areas of Accounting and Financial Reporting, Cash Management and Statutory Reporting. The role requires effective co-ordination of the portfolio's projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. - The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. The RTR Portfolio Lead is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the portfolio. They will develop and maintain the portfolio environment and governance to support each individual project within it. Program Execution &amp; Portfolio Management: 40% - Accountability for the regular review of the RTR portfolio, spanning across all A&amp;F regions and CBS Finance centers - Develop the Integrated RTR Process &amp; Program Plan and monitor progress - Leads the execution of portfolio with global footprint and with the highest cost and risk - Plan and design the portfolio and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action. - Ensure effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the portfolio - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the portfolio, and outwardly on its coherence and interfaces with other portfolios and corporate and technical standards - Ensure the delivery from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the portfolio plan and governance arrangements - Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects - Coordinate the RTR Process Projects with the in-flight and/or planned Finance Transformation and Global IT projects impacting RTR - Manage risks to the portfolio's successful outcome - Initiate extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the portfolio are identified or issues arise Governance, Communication &amp; Financial Management 40%:&nbsp; - Define and maintain the portfolio's governance arrangements including but not limited to Process Councils - Liaise with the Finance Program team across process towers - I2P and CTC to ensure consistency - Ensure regular communication with all stakeholders on the status and progress of the portfolio - Manage the portfolio's budget on behalf of the GPM RTR, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the portfolio progresses - Work closely with RTR tower leads, RTR Domain Leads to ensure the delivery of multi-year RTR Value targets Resource &amp; Team Management:20%:&nbsp; - Lead a global team of project managers allocated to RTR Portfolio in a matrix environment - Facilitate the allocation of individuals to project teams - Manage third party contributions to the portfolio - Ensure there is allocation of common resources and skills within the portfolio's individual projects - Active engagement with team members, ensuring work direction is clear, objectives are defined and met - Recognize and celebrate success Qualifications : Required Qualifications: - 5+ years experience in Portfolio or Project Management, with experience and success leading large scale global projects within the finance function (preferably 1-2 years RTR process related) - Experience in a large-scale global organization. - Prince 2, PMP or similar qualification in Project Management, required. - Demonstrated experience in finance process improvement. - Experience in finance process design and implementation. - Experience in transformational projects, preferably the transformation of finance and the implementation of a shared service network, preferred. - Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization delivering recommendations in a persuasive and thoughtful manner - The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams - Experience in global matrix organization, and experience working in different geographical areas and across enterprise-wide functions. - Passion for driving continuous improvement with clear evidence of same in professional or business background - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required given diverse nature of operating landscape - Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical detail.
