Position Purpose & Summary : - The SAP Solution Specialist ensures the functional/technical areas of Cargill SAP Template for Protein Business are well understood and managed from an end-to-end perspective and in alignment with the portfolio roadmap(s), and region and global business priorities. - The Sap Solution Specialist would bring strong expertise in all aspects of Record to Report (Financial and Management Accounting) business process, preferably for Meats business or other related businessesthat involves disassembly processes. - The SAP Solution Specialist will work closely with Solution Integrity Analysts, regional functional teams and partner resources to deliver process, data, and technology solutions. - This position is expected to be proficient in the systems & process design and implementation space and have experience on high rigor IT projects. - The position requires an experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, work well in the teams, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems and manage service partners. - This position is expected to follow the Cargill Project Delivery Process and requirements Analysis and Solution Design process framework. Principal Accountabilities : Analysis and Requirement Gathering : - Assess Business Unit/Function needs, clearly eliciting, translating, and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements - Facilitate requirements discussions with key stakeholders - Identify issues relating to missing or misinterpreted business requirements, so that corrective actions can be developed and applied accordingly - Analyze and interpret data and information to guide process and solution decisions - Perform fit-gap analysis of requirements with existing template - Assist in translating business requirements into functional design specifications - Support acceptance of solution (change management, communication, training needs) - Communicate and clarify the problem statement to the design and development resources Solution Definition, Confirmation, and Development : - Develops reliable Design and Solution for various Deployments of SAP Template for Protein businesses - Advocate quality of solutions that meet or exceed defined business requirements - Guide solution options and business partner decision making to minimize the amount of project investment divergence from target architecture - Support end-to-end application architecture integrity and the functional relationship across multiple projects and/or applications - Identifies key integration requirements to other solutions, understands the end-to-end flow of data, and ensures the integrity of data as it moves across the solution landscape - Provides support and consultation for detailed design, deployment, testing and production support. - Responsible for maintaining solution integrity through the course of the project including controlling scope, managing solutions for change requests and clarifying solution capabilities during all delivery phases - Responsible for ensuring the security architecture meets the requirements provided via TGRC Relationship and People Management : - Create and maintain long-term working relationships with technology teams, functional counterparts, vendors and business partners - Engage and influence business sponsors and users and contribute to their targeted business outcomes - Engage and influence developers to ensure productivity and solution quality - Act as a coordinator to ensure infrastructure requirements are implemented - Be a great team player and enable excellent delivery within team - Key contact for the vendor(s) of your application(s) 20% Architecture Assurance : - Manage adherence to defined standards throughout the design, development and implementation processes for the assigned application(s) including managing exceptions against the portfolio. - Review new projects and architecture solutions, ensuring they are aligned with the enterprise architecture and meet financial targets. - Champion data as a corporate asset, ensuring the value realization of the investments Cargill is making in the data and information areas are captured. IT Innovation & Delivery : - Drives improvement of architecture methodologies and services. Supports implementation, improvements, and proper utilization of architecture tools. Ensures the quality of architecture assets and keeps them up-to-date. Develops and maintains architecture metrics. - Maintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisions. - Drive the definition of the architecture and technology opportunities of the application(s) based on new and emerging technologies. - Demonstrate knowledge of a wide variety of technology disciplines. - Participates in routine and non-routine construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirements met - Assist in the design of new testing methods and resolves routine and non-routine technical issues with minimal assistance. With minimal guidance, monitors systems capacity and performance. - Participates in disaster recovery activities and contributes to disaster recovery planning. Education, Experience, Skills : Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's / master's degree in accounting (e.g. ICWA, CA etc.) or Business Administration - 10+ years business experience with diverse operational, development and technology roles in implementation of Financial and Management Accounting (Controlling) business processes for various industries - Expertise in all aspects of SAP technology for delivering Record to Report business process (Controlling, Product Costing, Financial Accounting). And integration with other relevant modules (Commercial, Supply Chain, GTS, FSCM et al.). - 3+ years of experience as lead designer / technical architect / SME - Experience collaborating with regional teams to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals - Experience in developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology - Experience with business case development - Strong conceptual, strategic thinking, problem solving, technical and analytical skills - Leadership and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation - Ability to influence peers and leadership stakeholders - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong project management, planning and organizational skills - Proven ability to work effectively within a large organization that operates using matrix management structures - Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies - Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 20% - Business fluency in English Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Meats or related business that involves disassembly process - Strong knowledge of Catch Weight Solution - Strong knowledge of Direct Store Delivery Process and Solution - Business strategy development - Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture - Industry certification (Examples include ITIL, APICS, six sigma, etc.)
