- Help people discover their dream jobs!

- Career Coaching is more than just job counseling: you will be trained in our proprietary job search program methodology so that you can effectively support our learners through resume building, Profile review, mock technical/behavioral interviews, interview preparation, networking, and job search best practices.

- Most important, you- ll have the opportunity to help each transitioning learner uncover their next steps on their journey to a new job by making them feel cared for and motivated to move forward.

Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 career coaching to learners online regarding their job search

- Respond promptly and supportively to career concerns and questions via email

- Stay up to date on current trends in technical/data science hiring and job search tactics

- Track outcomes of coaching calls via our Career Coach Dashboard, providing detailed notes and information that evaluate risk factors, track success, and predict future performance

- Escalate concern to the Career Services Head for additional coaching or intervention plans

- Collaborate with the Employer Relationship Manager and the Client Servicing team to recommend openings and share information about employ-ability

What we require

- 5 to 8 yrs of experience in Career coaching, executive search, or technical recruitment

- Experience advising working professionals on career transitions and growth

- MBA with a Bachelor's degree in required, Career coaching certification a plus

Skills Required

- Demonstrated ability to breakdown one's career ambition into actionable steps one can follow

- A good understanding of the recruitment process in different types of companies

- Awareness of industry trends in data science or technology

- Strong sense of empathy, positive outlook, and ability to motivate others

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills

- Ability to follow-up diligently on tasks
