CARE Analytics and Advisory Pvt. Ltd. (CAAPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CARE Ratings Ltd., is a leading consultancy firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) advisory services.

We work with diverse industries to enhance sustainability, manage risks, and drive positive impact. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a seasoned professional to join with a focus on ESG/Sustainability advisory services.

Position: Assistant Director ESG Advisory

Position Purpose:

- Role requires the person to develop and maintain ESG product / service and support the relationship teams.

- The role requires candidate to work in environment with diversity of work, and someone who embraces to work both independently and in teams.

- Candidate should have research and analytical bent of mind to understand and make use of various research reports on ESG topics and can incorporate the knowledge & understanding in development of products and services.

- The role requires the candidate to demonstrate the high degree of problem-solving capacity and ability to come up with innovative solutions

- Strong knowledge on concepts like ESG, climate change, ESG reporting standards, regulations

Key Responsibilities:

- Candidate should have min. 8-10 years' experience of implementing sustainability programs at corporate level or have strong consulting experience in Environment and Social aspects

- Candidate should have exposure in more than one of the following areas:

- Developing ESG reporting (BRSR and sustainability report) for the organization

- Liaison with consultants in implementing programs like LCA, EIA, SIA studies

- Knowledge on ISO standards - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001

- Experience of monitoring EHS implementation, compliance with OHSHAS 18001

- Experience in conducting assurance of ESG reporting

- Developing ESG policies for the organization

- Ability to develop ESG strategy, metrics, KPIs

- Partner with across teams on developing proposals, tracking and applying to tenders and engage with companies on various ESG related deliverables

Skill set required:

- Strong domain knowledge on Sustainability, leading practices and regulations

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Intermediate to advance level Microsoft Excel and PPT skills

- Ability to multi task. Should be able to lead multiple projects and deliverables

- Ability to work Independently or within group as per project requirements

Education and Experience:

- Master's degree in related discipline (environment and/or social sciences, energy management, sustainability, engineering, or related fields);

- Previous work experience in below areas

- ESG consulting and advisory, Part of Sustainability team in corporate
