Roles and Responsibilities

- Owns strategy and roadmap for end to end product or an independent product module

- Single point of contact for all stakeholders

- Defines complete product requirements through primary research, benchmarking against international products and competition analysis

- Manages the complete product development strategy for both front end and back end systems of the products.

- Defines the product acceptance testing criteria, ensures that they are met; plans for and ensures that product (and features) are appropriately used by operations and BD team; promptly resolves issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders.

- Takes strategic decision of licensing open source /licensed products widely available in the market to improve time to market.

- Ability to understand and discuss technical aspects of the solutions with technical architects. Passionate about technology. Successful track record of using technology to solve business problems in previous organizations

- Establish strong product management processes for conceptualizing, developing, launching and improving products

- Run regular reviews with appropriate stakeholders

- Must instill data driven decision making into the organization - should be in the PM's DNA to not launch products without measuring critical data related to health of the product

- Constantly run beta / pilot programs to test ideas to improve the product

Skills and Abilities Required

- Exceptional problem solving and structuring skills

- Experience of developing / launching at least one mobile product

- Understanding of customer needs and aspirations deeply and is a customer champion

- Knowledge in developing elegant and simple feature functionalities which delivers world-class user experience.

- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to work in cross-functional settings and influence without formal authority

- Strong project management and coordination skills

- Basic understanding of product marketing strategies in internet products

- Experience in launching his own portal will be a plus

- Hands on experience of coding in MySQL, and any scripting language like PHP etc. will be a plus

- Experience in developing mobile products solutions will be a plus

- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and is a quick Learner
