About the Role - As a Principal Product Manager for CarDekho you will be building the most sophisticated technology platform for selling cars online. At CarDekho, we are disrupting the auto industry and changing the world of personal mobility. We are building a tech-based platform that re-imagines the way people discover, decide, buy, sell, exchange, insure and finance cars - both new and used. This position will report into Vice President - Products . What You'll Do? - Craft a coherent product vision, strategy, and roadmap - Vision: Understand the company vision, align the product vision and evangelize the same across the cross-functional teams - Internalize CarDekho's existing products and then align your team's mission, strategy and roadmap with this direction. - Execute: This means being constantly biased towards action, being in the details with data, focusing on the most important problems, building strong collaborative relationships with other teams, always thinking of the customer first, and rapidly iterating towards something demonstrably awesome. - Champion and ship bold product bets that will significantly alter the business trajectory. - Manage and guide a team of PMs and designers . - Optimistically keep teams and direct reports focused on #winning. Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management delivering highly successful and innovative products . - Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - Management degree from a top Business school. - Computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent plus hands-on software engineering experience. - Ex founder and co founder experience would plus. - Analytical chops: You live and breathe data. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to wield it but also where it can lead you astray. Preferred Qualifications: - Customer Obsession: You are the voice of the customer in the company and you focus on delighting the customers via systematic research and data analysis . - Grittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on. - Strong communication & partnership skills - this will be an extremely cross-functional role, with more than a handful of core stakeholder teams. - Structured Thinking: You convert unstructured problems with lots of ambiguity into focused plans with a lot of clarity. - Entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for learning. - Bias for action and clarity of thought: you are constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
