CarDekho - Engineering Head - Rupyy

We at Rupyy by CarDekho create digital lending products used daily by millions of people. CarDekho is looking for an experienced engineering leader to help built the next-gen state-of-the-art digital lending platform. This role encompasses multiple domains including Application Development, Platform Engineering, Developer Tooling and Data Engineering. You'll be reporting to the CPTO at Rupyy. We are looking for strong process driven technologists who are passionate to solve large scale highly complex software engineering problems, in a repeatable, scalable & maintainable way.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a nimble team of 50+ players comprising of Engineering Managers, Tech leads and SDEs.

- Foster and facilitate the professional growth and development of our engineering staff as well as lead effective cross-functional collaboration across groups within the organization.

- Recruit and retain outstanding talent and provide mentoring, training (internal and external), and other opportunities for professional growth and development.

- Own, program manage and deliver key initiatives across team and architectures across products. Identify, plan, estimate, track and deliver tech initiatives.

- Establish reliability, performance, and scalability goals for all systems and implement platform designs to meet them.

- Troubleshooting and solving seemingly unsolvable production issues.

Additional Skills and Qualification:

- B.Tech/B.Engg. in Computer science or engineering.

- Masters in computer engineering or an MBA is preferred but not required.

- Designing and architecting software products in Node & React on the cloud with good knowledge of AWS Services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, ECS.

- Min experience of 10-12 years with at least 5 years of experience working with distributed systems.

- Experience working with of architecting / developing scalable and distributed software solutions using but not limited to RDBMS, NoSql, Message brokers, AWS, enterprise architecture patterns, GOF design patterns, etc.

- Proficient in Node, React, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, RDBMS, and DevOps methodologies and tools.

- Highly motivated, goal & process driven, can-do attitude to embrace challenges and changes.
