Job responsibilities :
- Revenue Planning : Forecast Sales for all categories inline with revenue targets as per past sales trend, seasonality, business performance, planned discount and promotion activities
- Develop & Manage annual, monthly OTB for assigned product categories. Provide timely and accurate re-projections based upon current sales & inventory trends to effectively manage inventory.
- Order management : Place timely orders with vendors to ensure inventory availability. Ensure right mix of depth & width in the assortment to ensure both replenishment and appropriate variety at the store.
- Coordinate with Sourcing on delivery timelines and priority inwards. Ensure right inventory at the right time
- Stock allocation : Setup Norms at Store-category level as per sales target and business focus. Align with regional Merchandisers and regional managers
- Manage inventory availability and inventory health including improved in-stock rates, inventory planning, and systematic forecasting
- Create scalable Order & inventory management systems and processes in partnership with technical and product teams
- Business Review : Create & manage MIS to review Plan vs target on revenue & Inventory
Skills :
- Engineer/Statistics graduate.
- MBA with at least 2 years of category Management, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Buying, Inventory Management preferably in Retail (Grocery, Fashion, Electronics, Appliances)
- Advanced excel knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of revenue & inventory planning systems & forecasting models
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross functional teams
