Investment Banking, M&A and Private Equity

Duties & responsibilities Included but are not limited to :

- Preliminary screening of prospective companies by analyzing their business/financial, past performance etc. and prepare transaction material like PPT/information memorandum/ PPT/ Financial model etc

- Apart from the client side, create a new relationship of the Investor which includes Private Equity Fund/Buyout funds/large conglomerates in India and Global

- Assist team leader in the entire transaction from meeting company to DD agencies and ensures TAT with respect to obtaining DD report which also includes resolving queries, negotiation on compliances.

- Peer tracking and monitoring of respective industry trends, M&A transactions and macro variables driving the industry.

- Tracking financial, business, and operating performance of peers and analysis and benchmarking of performance trends

- Monitoring macro-economic and industry trends, regulatory changes, news, events and studying research reports

- Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of business MIS, KPIs and benchmarking with competition

- Working on Investor communication materials (Investor Presentation etc.)

- Shareholding Analytics

- Managing, updating, recording the notes of investor interactions and generation of MIS and analytical reports

- Co-coordinating investor meetings and other investor interactions

- Engaging with various internal and external stakeholders for obtaining inputs, data, information, and co-ordination of project work-streams

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language :

- Minimum years of experience 4+ years of work experience in the Investment Banking/Advisory Firm

- Preferred industry experience Investment Banking - M&A / PE

Skills Required :

- Candidates are required to have a proven pedigree of demonstrable success throughout their career in IB advisory/ corporate / financial services with a record of consistently exceeding targets and expectations.

- We expect business and consulting experience gained within recognized financial institutions, leading Advisory firms, or a specialized boutique consultancy with

- Analytical and research skills with a high degree of attention to detail along with strong understanding of finance concepts

- Ability to analyze financial statements, forecasts, models, and other business metrics

- Ability to work with unstructured data and information and structure analysis/presentations.

- Ability to think at a strategic level and a logical thought process

- Proficient in MS Power Point and MS Excel

Qualifications : Postgraduate/Specialized in Finance / CA / CFA / MBA
