- Capwise Finance Private Limited is a Non- Deposit taking Non-Banking Financial Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India since June 2022. It is a newly formed and licensed NBFC and is currently catering to the Corporates/ startups in need of term loans for their working capital requirements. It aims to increase its portfolio to unsecured business loans, personal loans, supply chain finance, MSME/SME lending, and project finance in the years yet to come.

Duties & responsibilities Included but are not limited to :

- Evaluating the transactions in pipeline and ensuring proper controls are taken in underwriting the transaction

- Establishing and implementing processes/policies/ frameworks in credit risk assessment of new transactions and existing portfolio

- Evaluate the borrower's credit history, payment behavior, and financial statements

- Ensure all credit exposure complies with credit policies, procedures, standards, concentration limits and required provisions and suggest enhancements wherever required

- Set credit limits and terms for approved loans and credit lines

- Risk monitoring (Event based/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual) for NBFC portfolio and promptly alert senior

management to significant risk issues

- Timely capturing of the news alerts and feeds relevant to the Borrowing companies and the underlying industries

- Evaluating due diligence, loan documentation and other documents and communicating observations to

investment committee / management

- Fostering a partnership among the various business and support groups to create a compliant business

environment and culture

- Financial modelling to prepare management base and downside cases

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language :

Relevant Work Experience :

Minimum years of experience :

- 2-5 years of work experience in the NBFC

- Credit analyst needs to analyze financial data, such as income statements, balance sheets, ITR, GST and cash flow statements, to determine the borrower's ability to repay the loan leakages and critical controls pertaining to risk and credit systems

Preferred industry experience : Credit / Risk : NBFC/Bank/ Digital SME Lending

Skills Required :

- Excellent quantitative and MS Excel & Power point skills

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, especially adjustments in cash flow and leverage metrics

- Ability to identify key characteristics and drivers of diverse sectors/businesses from a credit risk perspective

- Knowledge of risk assessment and control

Qualifications : Postgraduate/Specialized in Finance / CA / CFA / MBA / FRM
