Job Description:

My Client is looking for an adaptable, hands-on Revenue Accounting Manager to join our accounting & finance team in Bucks County, PA! As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and technical aspects of the Company's revenue accounting, billing process, and reconciliations. You believe in taking ownership and getting things done right. You are able to manage chaos, create a sense of order, and are willing to dive into detailed revenue accounting issues while juggling ever-changing priorities and demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

- GL close: Perform month-end close activities including, but not limited to, posting monthly invoices, preparation of recurring and adjusting journal entries, job profitability analyses across multiple service lines, preparation and analysis of account reconciliation.

- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensure the companies AR Aging, accrued and deferred revenue accounts reconcile to the general ledger.

- Management of the Billing and Invoicing process: Oversee a team of people who will perform to ensure the companies monthly invoices are properly billed and submitted

- Management of the companies AR inbox: Assign to a team of people responsibilities to ensure the clients request are being responded to

- Management of the company's project set up list: Ensure the accuracy of customer and project setups.

- Adjustments: Prepare and process invoice adjustments/credit memos as well as related accounts receivable/revenue.

- Customer service: Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding revenues, open receivables, collection issues, resolution of customer discrepancies and short payments. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and internal personnel.

- Liaise with internal Leaders: Coordinate and communicate with internal leaders and cross-functional teams to review sales contracts, billings, collections matters, and other revenue related issues.

- Process improvement: Assist the Accounting team with process improvements to streamline revenue tasks and shorten revenue close cycle.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- International exposure like; US, EMEA, APAS, Australia, UK, etc. is must.

- Technical skills and abilities must include an above average knowledge of accounting and finance principles while maintaining great attention to detail and accuracy.

- Significant experience and/or knowledge of revenue recognition principles, including, but not limited to, deferred revenue recognition, accruals, allocation across business units, identification of performance obligations and when they are completed, etc.

- Dedication to the timely completion of all tasks, effective listening skills and the ability to ask educated questions at appropriate times. Inclinations to be a self-motivator, and apply flexibility/creativity, and conceptualization skills effectively with management.

- Demonstrate punctuality, dedication to meeting deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders

- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its complex formulas, while at the same to possess the ability to grasp new systems/software, database programs, and client management systems quickly

- The ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Promote a positive and professional attitude toward other staff members.

- Possess a professional working attitude and be flexible in taking on new challenges.

- Degree in Accounting or Finance

- At least 7-10 years revenue accounting experience in management consulting or billable service industry
