Responsibilities : 1. Direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions. Manage team members to ensure month-end close is completed timely. 2. Ensure local books are closed and sent to the U.S. HQ by the sixth business day of every month. 3. Guide financial decisions by establishing and monitoring policies and procedures. Ensure accounting records, including balance sheet reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. 4. Support U.S. accounting team by providing off-shore services of U.S. accounting functions. Assist in training local team members whenever responsibilities are transitioned. 5. Prepare ad hoc reports, as needed for HQ, by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data. Information includes tax and cash flow forecast / historical analysis. 6. Develop accounting team by coaching and counseling employees. 7. Oversee regulatory reporting (including annual statutory audit, tax return filings and compliance). Qualifications &amp; Requirements : 1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting. Chartered Accountant required. 2. At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in all finance &amp; accounting functions, including at least five years of managing a team. 3. Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP. 4. Experience of working in ERP environment (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics/NetSuite) 5. Prior experience interacting with an overseas office is preferred. Be able to work during part of U.S. working hours. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work with an overseas teams.
