Job Summary :

- The client is setting up a captive center to provide Shared Technology Services in the financial sector. The customer is setting up its captive center based in Colombo, Sri Lanka from where it provides services to the UK. All positions are permanent jobs based in Colombo.

- Management role with Techno-Functional profile and hands-on experience in managed services for Data Center technologies and Command centre. This role will manage the IT Services, Infrastructure Management & Operations Outsourcing initiative and report to the Offshore Lead - Infrastructure.

- In addition to the Base salary, the selectedcandidate will also be eligible for statutory benefits and Group Health Plans.

Key responsibilities :

Support the Offshore Lead - Infrastructure in delivering infrastructure services in a timely manner as per the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

- Enabling smooth transition of services to the Captive Centre

- Ensure Smooth Delivery of services in the particular Service line / Technology

- Review service line performance and devise improvement plans as required

- Propose expansion of services by adding new services

- Authoring SOW, Periodic review & updates through Change Process

- ITIL process definitions and implementation

- Automation in service delivery

- Creation of reusable service and process components

- Resource management and Utilization

- Management reporting and communication management

- Employee retention, motivation, training, mentoring and growth (Senior Only)

- Overall SLA management, Customer Satisfaction and employee satisfaction

- Escalation of issues and timely resolution

- Client Facing Exposure and Strong Relationship Management skills are a must.

- Ensures Compliance to all Business Controls activities

- Ensure Audit Readiness for Service delivery.

- Windows Packaging

- Patrol Patrol

- Remedy ADDM Remedy

- Remedy ADDM ADDM

- Control M Control M

- Configuration & Release Mgmt. Clearcase, Bamboo, Jira, Stash

- Hitachi Storage Hitachi, Brocade, Veritas NetBackup

Qualifications & Core Competencies :

- Junior Level : 2-4 Years Experience

- Middle Level : 4-7 Years Experience

- Senior Level : 7 plus yrs. experience

- At least 50% of the total experience years should be in IT Infrastructure

Operations/ Datacentre Operations & Management :

- Strong Technical Orientation with ability to make decisions

- Strong Management/ Team Building/ Decision Making attribute (Senior Only)

- Data center management and data center support experience.

- Understanding of working with mission critical setup

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written as well as ability to present to the senior leadership team.

- Expertise in Defining Process and ensure the implementation within the Service Delivery Organization

- Exposure to ITIL Best Practices is necessary

- Datacentre Migration/Consolidation experience will be an advantage
