Job Description : - Responsible for the automation prototype design and standardization on conveyors, Material Handling Equipments projects - especially suited for wet floors and materials - Responsible for the research on new technology for the IN FC/SC/DS - Get involved in the new FC/SC/DS Material flow engg and layout design - Evaluate alternative solutions, best practices and benchmarks in the industry - Good experience in conceptual Engg, layout design, Application engg knowledge - MHE vendor and product development. Techno-commercial discussions and assisting internal and external stakeholders for timely completion of SLAs - Vendor Pre-qualification, shortlisting and developing considering long terms goals Basic Qualifications : - Automation/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering related degree. - 6-8 years experience in Traditional Retail, E-Commerce, Logistics or Express industry related to MHE development or manufacturing. - Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment specifications and PLC control system. - Good experience in layout design. - Open communication and strong negotiation skills. - Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). - Understanding of software system interaction with hardware equipment. - Good project management skill on cost saving projects. - Good understanding of safety compliance requirements of equipment design. - Knowledge of value engineering and cost sensitiveness on the new design. - Excellent communication skills (oral &amp; written) to communicate with stakeholders - In depth knowledge of automation control system logic, mechanism and protocol; software interface and business logic between control system and management system
