Industry context and Role overview :

The Meat and seafood industry in India is 95%+ unorganized due to which there are no national multi channel brands available in the country today for categories especially in fish and mutton. Chicken is the most organized of the 3 largely consumed meat categories in the country and has a range of brands that are already pretty prevalent. We want to lead the charge of creating specialist brands in fish and mutton similar or better than what has happened in Poultry so far.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Providing HR expertise and service that support clients in achieving their goals and objectives by becoming a trusted partner.

- Developing collaborative relationships with senior management, people managers and employees in assigned client groups such as coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.

- Coaching and counseling managers on effective management/supervisory skills that inspire high performing employees.

- Designing interventions for induction, performance management and succession planning for the business unit.

- Partnering with people managers and recruiters to attract and retain a diverse, engaged workforce.

- Recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures which fosters continuous improvements within the business unit.

- Acting as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit.

- Actively identifying gaps, proposing and implementing changes necessary to cover risks.

- Challenging the organizational structure of the internal client and proposing changes.
