The Candidate should be Qualified Chartered Accountant. Only candidate from NBFC Sector will be considered.

The person shall be responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Job Description

1. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

2. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department of the NBFC.

3. Preparation of RBI returns on the quarterly basis

4. Ensure GST, Income Tax and TDS Compliances

5. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.

6. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

7. Assist in Operations in the daily banking requirements.

8. Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

9. Monthly reconciliation of all cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.

10. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

11. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

12. To Coordinate and complete annual audits

13. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

14. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

15. Meet financial accounting objectives

16. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

17. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

18. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

19. Supports budget and forecasting activities.

20. Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
