Lead - Total Rewards & Performance Management

Capital Foods has an opportunity for a Lead - Total Rewards & Performance Management to join our HR Team. We are at the crux of transformation and that is also the case with the way our HR Team is going to operate. We are moving towards a model which partners our business requirements while keeping our employee at its core.

What you will do ?

Total Rewards:

Driving the 6 Ps of Total Rewards:

- Pay Philosophy: Defining overall purpose of pay , what do we wish to reward

- Pay Approach: Create a balance between short term & Long-term goals

- Pay Parity: Create a performance-based pay differentiation delivery

- Pay Positioning: optimize internal & external equity in line with organization ability to pay

- Pay Delivery: create a discretionary pay delivery framework

- Pay Mix: Create a balance between fixed and variable pay outs create a self-funding mechanism

- Oversee the payroll and related activities in terms of tracking timely filing of returns and compliance against various laws & regulations ( There will be an associate reporting to this role who is responsible for payroll operations )

- Job Evaluation and Organization Grade design

Performance Management:

- Drive the goal setting for the organization, ensuring cascading of Annual Operating Plan to individual roles.

- Drive the mid-year and annual performance review cycle

- Create awareness at different levels on principles of performance and goal setting.

- Track performance at a monthly level for key functions

Being a small team there is always opportunity to dabble in more and get involved in projects, some such options are

- Leveraging technology for enhancing employee experience & reporting

- Drive internal & external communication, branding & Employee Engagement

- Identify areas of capability building and drive specific interventions to target specific skill set amongst a target group

Functional Knowhow:

- Working knowledge of Compensation & Benefits

- Highly proficient on MS Excel (knowledge of macros is an added plus)

- Hands on working experience in data modelling & visualization tools ( e.g. Power BI / R / Tableau) will be preferable

- Working knowledge of data modelling e.g. Regression analysis , hypothesis testing etc

- A good understanding of P&L and cost elements is desirable.

People who have a strong competency in this area like to base their decisions on a logical analysis of the available evidence. Their decisions are typically well-considered and thought through. They would be expected to have a well-tuned critical faculty.

- Integrity: is defined as the tendency to be reliable and honest. People who have a strong competency in this area can be trusted to work independently, with only minimal supervision. They tend to avoid taking inappropriate risks and take responsibility for their own mistakes and errors. They are likely to act with due diligence and have a strong sense of business ethics

- Attention to detail : is defined the ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small especially in terms of spotting errors proactively.

- Resilience : is defined as the tendency to cope well with pressure. People who have a strong competency in this area tend to be calm and keep control of their emotions. They are unlikely to get flustered or lose their temper in emotionally charged situations. They would be expected to accept criticism in a constructive manner and not to be disheartened by setbacks.

- Planning and Organising : is defined as the tendency to organise one's own and others' work and to plan for all contingencies. People who have a strong competency in this area are likely to be tidy and well-organised. They would be expected to plan their work so it can be completed within agreed timeframes and to be happy to delegate work appropriately.

- Energy and Drive is defined as the tendency to have high levels of drive, energy and enthusiasm. People with this competency are likely to be lively and energetic and to display passion and pride in their work. They would be expected to be enthusiastic about their work, take the initiative and be self-motivated and committed.
