Role Insurance Testing Practice Lead

Location Hyderabad - must be willing to travel locally and internationally

Roles & Responsibilities The identified candidate will be responsible for :

- Support market growth and leadership in the testing / QA focused on Insurance for global clients

- Collaborating with client to drive QA transformation agenda

- Participating in Management Reviews and Teleconferences

- Identifying dependencies, constraints, risks and issues

- Handling escalations / project issues from Client project managers and SMEs

- Managing the delivery level risks across Life, P&C and Health testing customers

- Support delivery of medium to large projects along with business units across multiple cities in India

- Collaborate with cross functional team internally to build domain based solutions

- Effectively manage stakeholder communication

- Has strong people management skills to nurture, develop and retain talent in a multi-city setup

- Has strong employee engagement, retention management skills

Experience & Exposure Expected - 15+ years of manual functional testing experience :

- Minimum 5 years of managing testing teams

- Sound test process knowledge and expertise in testing life cycle

- Relevant domain / industry experience

- End-to-end and hands on experience across SDLC phases

- Estimation and Budgeting Experience

- Familiarity in different development methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, etc.

- Exposure to Test Automation, Automation tools and frameworks

- Understanding of Mobile testing, Performance Testing

- Understanding of TCoE, test maturity assessment frameworks and models

- Defect tracking knowledge and deep understanding of various defect metrics

- QA lifecycle tools - HP (Quality Center, QTP, PTC, etc.) or equivalent

- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills

- Experience in Agile/ DevOps and other new ways of QA world

Role Specific Specialized Skills - Market presence, Large engagements experience from incubation to delivery

Visa Preference - Has valid US business visa and also is open to travel internationally
