You will be part of the global marketing and communications shared services organization (MCOS). MCOS (Marketing & Communications Offshore Services) is the Group-wide Marketing & Communications shared services organization providing services ranging from design, content and web to account based marketing, pursuit marketing, GTM program management and global campaign support.
Job Location: Mumbai
Travel required: 10-20% (Europe/India)
Role and Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate must be actively participating in a wide variety of social media activities.
- The candidate must be able to think strategically, but also be willing and able to operationally scale-up and develop further this key digital initiative.
- He/she should be able to strategize, plan, manage, evangelize, train and facilitate the execution/adoption of social media within the Capgemini world.
- Be the voice and ambassador of a key priority initiative toward top management, business and Marketing stakeholders on all continents
- Manage a team of 15 social media experts
- Set KPIs for the team, train them and ensure their professional and personal development
- Sell the program internally and be its ambassador within the group
- Be knowledgeable about tools that help listen, monitor and analyze the social media conversations
- Monitor trends on social media, tools and applications, and apply appropriately that knowledge to enhance Capgemini social media presence
- Experiment with new ways to leverage social media activities (marketing R&D)
- Work with senior leadership/experts panel to ensure social media is integrated into the cultural fabric of the organization
- Measure and report the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts (Publish daily, weekly, monthly dashboards and reports)
- Educate stakeholders on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the marketing and sales culture and activities
Experience:
- 10 years marketing/ branding experience in a global organization or worked in a lead role in the social media space in agencies or media (in which case, he or she should have a passion for technology and is well able to understand B-to-B marketing)
- Social media marketing having been part of your core role for most of those years
- Should have worked in a global role, so understands the social media variables of the non-English speaking markets and the complexity of an international group
- Have developed yourself a strong social media presence or having led successful social media campaign (you will be ask to share links or proofs)
- Proven ability to map out marketing strategy into social media plan, lead the execution of the plans and report on them (proven by metrics)
- Knowledgeable about social media monitoring and analytical tools and techniques; Proficient in SMMS (social media management system)
- Knowledge of SEO-think including basic keyword research
- Experience of having led teams of more than 5 people
- Having worked or studied abroad for one year or more
- An experience in sales or having worked in partnership with Sales would be a strong plus
