Role description - Actively involvement in business development, helping support or lead project bids, writing proposals and pitching to clients in the area of supply chain transformation (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales &amp; Operations Planning/ Integrated Business Planning, Sourcing &amp; Procurement, Warehousing &amp; Logistics) - As delivery lead / subject matter expert, the candidate is expected to drive client billable engagements, and be involved in creating thought leadership and new service offerings with Capgemini Invent internal communities - Proactively scan the business environment and keep a track of emerging trends, highlighting strategic insights that could impact businesses Background/ Experience - 6-15 years of increasing responsibility and successful track record in Consulting OR Consulting plus Industry in supply chain/ procurement role in core manufacturing industries (Steel, Cement, Chemicals, Aerospace &amp; Defense, Industrial Machinery, Machine Tools etc.) - Strong understanding of supply chain areas (e.g., Supply Planning, Sales &amp; Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning, Sourcing &amp; Procurement, Warehousing &amp; Logistics) - Exposure on technology side would be a plus - Working experience in developing the future digital strategy roadmap for Digital Supply Chain - Client relationship management and account management skills - Experience leading complex projects in a distributed supply chain environment - Experience leading projects that leverage technology to improve process efficiencies Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business? Supply Chain or Logistics discipline + Master's degree (MBA preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.)
