Global SOC Manager

- Responsible for Managing Security Operation Center

Cyber security incident monitoring and response,

security investigations and forensics,

Remediation

Security Intelligence gathering and dissemination

Threat monitoring, modeling and develop use cases for security monitoring

- Create the incident and CIRT (Computer Incident Response Team) policies, charter, and procedures.

- Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives

- Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to IT leadership

- Works collaboratively with IT team & service managers

Required Skills

- Experience in a leadership position in a Security Operations Center of large enterprise or large Managed Service provider (MSS)

- In-depth knowledge of Cyber security concepts (cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.)

- Expertise with tools and processes used in security incident detection and handling (SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment, Threat Intelligence )

- Must have an in-depth understanding of network security issues, security event logging / monitoring, Firewalls, Intrusion prevention, proxy services, Anti-Virus technologies, authentication mechanisms, ethical hacking tools, vulnerability assessment & scanning tools, application security assessments, incident response and knowledge of common information security management frameworks.

Eligibility:

- Experience 15+ years of managing enterprise security framework of large organization with at least 10+ years of experience in Managerial Role.

Qualification

- Educational qualification: BE/BTech/MCA from a reputed institute

- Professional Certifications: CISSP/ GCIH /GSEC

Behavioral

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders

Technical requirement

Uses appropriate analytical tools and external resources to enhance internal processes

- Understands the complexities and agility requirements in the global business context and calibrate one to meet diversified needs.
