Capgemini - Data Scientist - SCM/Demand Planning - Supply Chain Analytics Team

Capgemini is looking for an exceptional data scientist to join a newly formed supply chain analytics team. This team is responsible for providing analytical support by driving predictive analytics projects in various domains such as forecasting, text mining, predictive modelling using advanced supervised algorithms, discerning underlying patterns in the data using unsupervised learning techniques. The skills are oriented towards immediate implementation into the supply chain analytics projects.

You should be passionate and inquisitive about finding insights in small/large data sets, synthesizing and communicating results in simple and plain language and driving practical business impact.

- Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional business partners to identify gaps and structure problems

- You will create meaningful supply chain analytics capabilities which are ready to be implemented in various situations.

- You will create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data.

- Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy, and communicate findings to product, engineering and management teams.

Requirements - 

- 4-7 years of post MBA work experience involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems

- Post-Graduation from Tier 1 MBA college in Marketing/Stats/Operations Management

- Expert with statistical software (R/Python/SAS/Matlab). Expertise in R is mandate

- Expert in advanced excel skills

- Expertise in working with data query language like SQL and working experience with DBs like MySQL, Access, MongoDB etc.
