Job Purpose
Looking for Business Head for Healthcare company for its eCommerce Business
Candidates must have strong educational background, looking for MBA from tier1 colleges
As the Business Head, you believe in bigger and better top line and bottom line. Ability to connect with people across teams & levels. Must be willing to learn and unlearn. Strong understanding of technology and business
Main Accountabilities
- Lead digital commerce strategy of Health care company and customer experience engagements with a strong focus on business analysis, strategic and financial modeling, differentiated digital experiences, key digital capabilities and/or road mapping.
- Should have handled business, P&L independently for at least 2 to 4 years
- Build and fortify the business model: Go deep, understand where opportunities are and chase them.
- Ownership of all category specific marketing activities
- Lead or supervise delivery/develop and deepen positive working relationships across the client organization, with special focus on executive-level stakeholders
- Deliverable include sub category-wise traffic, conversions, customer base & revenues
- Work with online & offline marketing, category & website teams to conceptualize and implement initiatives for category freshness
- Building category level shopper understanding and gaining deeper insights
- Own pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, competitive signals, etc. Drive necessary promotions
- Identify the growth areas and new business scope within the existing category
- Engage with clients to identify key strategic challenge(s) and business, marketing and digital needs to be addressed; evaluate scope of strategic engagement
- Define and conduct (or partner with others to conduct) appropriate research activities, and evaluate findings.
- Define a digital program's strategic vision and business goals to guide strategy development and execution, and to move people to action
- Analyze business, marketing and digital performance across products, markets, audiences, and channels
- Provide recognized thought leadership and points of view (including white papers) on Digital strategies and consumer experience including e Commerce, Social Media, Digital in retail, etc.
- Provide assessment and vision of the ideal - consumer experience- by defining key capabilities that differentiate clients and meet consumer needs e.g. define cross-channel implications and opportunities, define impact to brand, etc.
- Support client presentations and business development efforts with strategic thinking, research and analysis
- Work with strategy team members to define success metrics and evaluate business impact of digital strategies and projects over time
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of trends and best practices in retail consumer experience, B2B consumer experience, digital technology, retail strategy, commerce, marketing, relevant industry verticals, and general business strategy
People leadership :
- Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions
- Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and MBA from Tier 1 institute required
- Knowledge of Retail/Consumer Industry is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
- Project management experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Expects, requires and demonstrates continuous innovation.
- Street smart; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
