Call Health - Head - Legal (8-10 yrs)

Job Purpose :

- The Head - Legal protects the organization and its officers from the risks of litigation and proactively creates a risk-free environment by identifying and implementing the best legal practices and standards. In doing so, the integrator-

a. Ensures requisite legal and statutory compliance

b. Pre-empts legal risks and proactively find ways to mitigate and reduce risk exposure

- Works closely with stakeholders in ideation, development, integration and implementation of new products / Services

- In addition to protecting corporate credibility, the Integrator of this transformation area creates value by providing business friendly legal inputs, mining Intellectual Property opportunities and filing for patents, copyrights and trademarks as deemed appropriate. At the same time, he/she proactively takes measures to protect the corporate brand and its intangible IPR assets from potential infringements.

Main Accountabilities :

- Identify legal risks and develop a risk mitigation plan to reduce litigation cost

- Establish an effective control mechanism for legal and statutory compliance

- Protect Call Health's IPRs from infringements

- Draft all legal contracts and clauses for the organization.

- Proactively identify IP opportunities and draft timely and accurate applications for IP rights and protection

- Represent CH organization for dealing with all litigation matters

- Draft legal policy and process documents

- Periodically audit documentation, legal contracts and service business agreements to check for non-conformities and non-compliance

- Review the performance measures of the legal business and ensure all measures remain green

- Ensure all services business integrators understand the legal and statutory requirements for their respective business and comply with the guidelines and norms

- Coordinate with various businesses across the organization and support them on Legal day to day requirements.

- Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.

- Strong Business Acumen is a high priority skill.

- Understanding of financial and commercial terms in Contracts.

- Understanding of important laws, statutes and regulations in the Territory having impact on the operations of the Company.

- General legal risk analysis of commercial contracts and business transactions and preparing risk reports.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner

- Provide legal guidance, training and opinion to business

- Be abreast with the changes in law position and overview legal, regulatory requirements

- Should appraise Management on weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly status related to Legal matters

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

- Qualified LLB/ LLM with 8 - 10 yrs.

- Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.

- Understanding of financial and commercial terms in Contracts.

- Understanding of important laws, statutes and regulations in the Territory having impact on the operations of the Company.

- General legal risk analysis of commercial contracts and business transactions and preparing risk reports.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner

- Good Team management skills.

- Excellent communication skills, a thorough knowledge of the company's business and applicable regulations, strength of character, integrity, and above all a professional approach.

- To motivate and develop by identifying their training requirements.

- Knowledge of innovative Financing Structures and Funding Mechanisms will serve as an added advantage for the applicant

- Candidate should be smart and articulate with good communication and presentation skill

Key Relationship Customers :

- Internal Customers: Should have close connect with internal stake holders to guide, motivate and help them in understanding the business and management information system requirements and their development.

- Internal support department: Should have connect with all the support departments.

- External Customers: Liaises with auditors, Investors, Directors, Consultants and etc.

Other information :

- Should be edge over competitor business knowledge.
