Position: Key Account Manager

Qualification & Exp: BE/ BTech Chemical with 8+ yrs. in Specialty Chemical Sales +PG in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration
Job Brief :
We are currently looking to hire a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for managing of key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Developing and managing a portfolio of Key Accounts and understand the customer's business model and decision-making channels; build and maintain customer relationship with key decision makers to understand business objectives and enable customer satisfaction.
- Achieving monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers
- Work on creating new opportunity pipeline for existing and new industries
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as up-sell and cross-sell potential within existing customers to maximize share of wallet
- Support internal teams by identifying gaps in the service levels and understanding customer needs in order to successfully up/ cross-sell the services and ensure customer's issues are resolved in a timely manner. Coordinating pre sales and post sales follow up.
- Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify the risk associated with the customer and form a mitigation strategy with help of cross functional team for smooth operations.
- Ability to report and share client's status on a timely/pre-defined interval.
- Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback
Qualifications & Requirement :
Demonstrated track record of :
- Winning business
- Creating and implementing a sales plan
- Analyzing sales data and developing budgets
- Strong track record of success within key account management, ideally within the, Polymers, aerospace defense, Oil and Gas, Cosmetics, Agrochemicals, Nutrition industry.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions, goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solver.
- Should possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
