Role:

You should specialize in Collateral, Margin, Legal, Uncleared Margin Rules, Initial Margin, Variation Margin, Programme & Project Management, IT Implementation, Target Operating Models, ISDA SIMM, SIMM Model Approvals, Regulatory Rules Analysis, RFI & RFP on Custodial or Collateral Management Systems, Industry Speaking, Webinars, Clearing, Security Financing, Optimisation, Custodial Onboarding, Consulting, BCBS 261, CSDR, IBOR, SFTR, Transaction Reporting, CASS, Intragroup Margining, and Segregation of IM

Key Accountabilities:

- Drafting and Negotiation of initial Margins, Variation Margins, CSA (Credit Support Annexe)

- Monitor IM exposure to gauge threshold surpass. Preparing for UMR compliance:

- Setting up new legal agreements for IM exchanges

- Managing relationships with tri party agents or third parties

- Establishing processes for calculating, allocating, posting, collecting and settling collateral with counterparties and reconciling IM exposure calculations

- Define and deliver the full set of end-to-end Initial Margin changes

- Create and develop IM phase 5 / 6 team playbook materials;

- Legal SME on development of workflow tool and processes;

- Creation of IM collateral agreement templates including annotated guidance;

Supervision of negotiators;

- Negotiation of all types of IM collateral agreements and security/control agreements. IM CSA/CSD/CTA including Next Gen, non-bank custodian security agreements and ACAs;

Qualifications:

- 3 to 9 years of legal contracting experience

- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in law

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Must have experience on UMR Phase 5 implementations.

- Strong delivery experience of the Uncleared Margin rules (UMR), specifically the Initial Margin rules, variation rules and Credit Support Annexe (CSA)

- Strong knowledge of the Initial Margin rules, Variable Margin, UMR Phase 5, IM 5, UMR phase 6 implementation, UMR implementation, Outreach, margin calculation, aggregated average notional amount (AANA)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns.

- Willingness to work virtually or in an office setting

- Ability to identify, analyse, and suggest solutions for problems, customer complaints, and client concerns

- Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations

- Good organisation skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of negotiation best practices, both in-person and in written form, that considers cultural norms and the client's best interests
