Roles & Responsibilities

Audit and Assurance:

- Participate in financial statement audits and other assurance engagements.

- Analyze financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Conduct risk assessments and internal control evaluations.

- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders.

- Collaborate with team members to complete audit engagements within deadlines.

Taxation:

- Assist in preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

- Support tax planning initiatives and provide recommendations for minimizing tax liabilities.

- Prepare tax provisions and assist in tax audits and assessments.

- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and their impact on clients' businesses.

Financial Advisory and Consulting:

- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.

- Assist in the preparation of financial models, business valuations, and investment appraisals.

- Conduct market research and industry analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Develop financial forecasts and assist in the preparation of business plans and feasibility studies.

- Provide recommendations on optimizing financial performance and improving operational efficiency.

Risk Advisory and Compliance:

- Assist in conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.

- Evaluate internal controls and processes to identify potential risks and deficiencies.

- Support the implementation of risk mitigation measures and compliance programs.

- Conduct compliance audits and assist in resolving compliance-related issues.

- Stay updated with regulatory changes and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Financial Reporting and Accounting:

- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.

- Assist in the consolidation of financial data and preparation of management reports.

- Perform financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends and potential issues.

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Skill Sets:

- Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with May 2023 examination results.

- Strong academic record in CA examinations.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
