1. Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive

2. Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees

3. Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected

4. Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have

5. Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues

6. Manage and supervise other HR staff, ensuring they are assigned and carry out proper tasks

7. Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws

8. Maintaining HR records, such as those related to compensation, health and medical insurance

9. Handling insurance-related issues

10. Managing workplace safety issues

11. Training new or existing employees

12. Communicating and explaining the organization's HR policies to the employees

13. Follow up of confirmation records statutory obligations - PF, ESIC, taxes, gratuity, LTA, bonus etc

14. Preparation of salary statement

15. Handling the full and final settlement of the employees

16. Administration of all contract labor

17. Conducting various welfare activities

18. Community initiatives programs - organizing and participation

19. Regular updating of communication channels

20. Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement of employees in consultation with the management

21. Ensuring statutory compliances for PF withdrawal, annual returns, factory license, shop and establishment license, labour law and record information on a timely basis

22. Liaising with all government agencies to ensure adherence to compliance

23. Preparing and processing timely distribution of salary, bonus, increment salary slip, leave encashment and full and final settlements

24. Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality

25. Conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities

26. Maintaining and regularly updating master database (personal file, personal database, etc.) of each employee

27. Resolving grievances or queries that any of the employees have

28. Escalating to the right level depending on the nature of the grievance or issue

29. Checking travel and tour expenses and contractor bills and record in relevant software for timely credit of the amount into employee's accounts

30. Preparing letters such as offer and confirmation

31. Implementing and administering performance management processes as per the PMS policy and timelines

32. Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly

33. Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers

34. Engaging with employees on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the organization

35. Keeping records of staff insurance and ensuring timely renewal

36. Coordinating with consultants and candidates for scheduling appointments with the management team for sourcing

37. Conducting the first round of telephonic interview for the candidates to schedule interviews.
