Byju's - Principal Engineer

Role - Principal Engineer - Epic!

Reporting to - Senior Engineering Manager

Mode - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee technical architecture and design for complex systems

- Develop and implement new technical solutions to meet business needs

- Participate in project planning, estimation and prioritization of technical tasks

- Mentor and guide junior team members in technical best practices and development methodologies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical risks and issues

- Continuously review and improve technical processes and practices to increase efficiency and quality

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

- At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on systems design and architecture

- Proficiency in PhP(preferred but not limited to), Java or other object-oriented programming languages

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architecture

- Experience with modern DevOps tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, containerization)

- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
